Photo: Josh Robenstone Dumplings are on the menu at Brentwood Park Primary School in Melbourne's south-east, where they have been serving up Chinese language lessons – including dumpling and mooncake making – for the past two years. Brentwood Park is one of a wave of Victorian schools that have taken on teaching Chinese in the past few years, with the number of students in government schools studying the language more than tripling from 15,000 in 2007 to 52,000 in 2014.
